UAB HONORS PROGRAM: If the Honors Program is fully completed at UAB, a transfer student from UAB will be granted credit for the 41 semester hours (Areas I-IV) of the General Studies Curriculum. If a student transfers prior to the completion of the full honors program at UAB, the Director of the Honors Program at UAB will coordinate with the receiving institution concerning the number of hours that should transfer and the appropriate substitution for Areas I-IV of the General Studies Curriculum.
